My cromo Bosco Bars came rusty on the inside, to be honest. I hit them with
framesaver , not sure what else I could do.

I have a set of the CroMo Alba's and they are nice. I guess the idea is
they provide slightly more shock absorption than the Alu ones.

Just because it is CroMo , does not mean it will rust anymore than just
because it's Al it will break !
Either or is fine and will last a long time. If one lives and/or stores a
bike in a wet environment,or just worried about it, get a Al version. Or
apply Boeshield or FrameSaver in the ste
