Richard, specifically in megabytes, what is the size of the image you are
trying to post ? The size limit for a post is possibly 8mb, not the 25mb
which I think is for gee-mail attachments.
You have not mentioned removing the string of replies below the three dots,
have you done that also ?
I used the paper clip, reduced the photo to smallest size. Even tried
attaching a link to photo. No go.

Did you use the "paperclip" button to attach the photo instead of embedding
it into the body of the email?
How big are your photo files? You can use Mac's Preview application to
reduce the size (by %: 75%, 50%, and so on); you don't need 4 gb for a
clear photo.

Tried to attach photo to a new post. Just title, two words and the photo.
No luck. Message too long.
Same result with the Dell desktop or the Macbook Pro.
I have looked at all my Google Group settings. Can't find anything amiss.
What am I missing?

Echoing aeroperf's suggestion to use the paperclip to attach photos. I've
had issues posting photos using the Mail app on Mac and iPhone, but logging
in to Google Groups with a browser allowed me to include photos, as
aeroperf suggested.

A couple of things to check that I have run into—
There are three dots at the bottom of both your second post and Garth’s
post in this thread.
When you click on that, it expands and shows the post that you are
“replying” to, even if you clicked “Reply all”.
All that is also included in your post
I tried that, resized to smallest size, converted to a link and still got
the too large error. Some people can put multiple photos in their posts.
I can't add anything.

If I'm not mistaken there is a size limit to how many mb's per posting. So
if you try to post multiple or even single large photos over a certain
amount, it might be 25mb ?, then you get that message. Just split the
images into single or smaller individual posts. In the case of an overly

Richard, Since there are many variations of operating systems, devices and
browsers/apps it would help if you state exactly what you're using to
access the group. The device format, the OS, the browser or app. That way
you can get a specific answer.
