The CX70 comes with a yoke rather than a straddle wire set up. I believe you can toss the yoke and make your own straddle wire to adjust the height but out of the box it's not set up that way. This is all from memory so I could be wrong. -Justin -- You received this message because you are

Can the cx70 brakes be used with a front rack or dies the cable hanger/straddle wire get in the way? On RBW site the pic makes it look like the hanger gets in the way of the rack mounting hole on the fork crown. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW

I second the CX70s! They are a great brake! I have Both Paul's brakes and Shimano CX70s and they are both great brakes. If you are looking for a more budget oriented brake, the CX70s are the way to go. Keith -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW

I added a Pass & Stow porteur rack to my Clem. The Tektro CR720 brakes I'm using stick out and happen to be right at the level where panniers would mount. Looks like I'll need to swap to a low profile canti for the front, and I'd like to have a matching set, so I'll swap the rear brake as well.
