I'd try the 45's if I were you--they give good but not excessive coverage
over 32mm tires on my Rambouilet and they're very flexible--almost
alarmingly so until you get the stays attached and adjusted. Shouldn't be
much trouble to squeeze them in there...

Not a direct answer, but perhaps still of help: I just looked at the
still-packaged pair of 45 mm Longboards waiting to go on the Ram, and I
can't see any reason why they won't fit that frame. in fact, I've got a
pair of PB 45s or 50s that I use for one of my custom 26" wheel road Rivs
and they fit
I've heard conflicting input about what size tires the various longboards
will cover.
I'd like to fender my Protovelo which has J.B. 33.3's (green) and very
little room to spare at the fork crown.
I know P45's would cover those wheels but I don't think I can squeeze them
