I'm ready with my money, too! This new Cheviot is a beauty with that
swoopy tube. Though my favorite color is blue, I would be very happy with
the silver because I could dress her up with a bright blue bag and tape,
maybe some blue "bling" like pedals, hubs and bolts. I'm going with light

See, Toshi is just RIGHT. Red. And we should all have mixtes. I’m a fan!

I second that sentiment on the practicality of mixtes for all folks. Mixtes
are just pure magic. There was about a year after getting my Clem-L where I
just refused to throw my leg over a top tube. It was all smooth Clem-L
riding that I would do. M.O.M. Is also a delightfully confusing acronym for
Paul, I see it just like that - but with red hearts. ❤️ I definitely think you
should get in on this. Men with Mixtes - we should have a patch made.

Has anyone heard about tire clearance? I just remember hearing it was

It depends on size. The pic you have is a smaller Glorius/Wilbury. The

Awesome! I second Ray's name proposal.

Here's the words from the newsletter, which I should have included in the
original post:
Here's one of those sample frames. It's an updated version of the Cheviot,
although Grant is considering having a new name and new decals for it.
The forks came without v-brake studs (I'm not calling them c
If they change the name, my vote would be for Deux Chevuit.

Does anyone have a guess as to how long a project like the Fancy Cheviot takes
to bring to production? I feel like we’ve been waiting forever already. I
pushed pretty hard to know the ETA because I didn’t want to wait a year and was
considering a custom that would arrive sooner. Last I heard the
I see a name thread coming! I vote Elliottdale, a hardy Tasmanian sheep breed.
Name can also be read Elliott Dale, which sounds as delightfully bonkers as
Charlie Gallup et al.

I forgot to say that I will really miss the Cheviot name and decals if they
rename the bike. If it gets a new name please no Wolbis. Or Slugstone. I dread
telling newcomers, “Let me tell you about my Wolbis.” It will sound terribly
inappropriate.
Looking at the bike and what a class act it is,
New cheviot looks great. But what i really want a pic of is the charlie b

I saw this bike in the Riv newsletter and I nearly tipped over. This is the
exact bike I would have chosen for myself if I had asked for a custom (but done
in red, you know). It’s elegant and lovely and it looks like a ball gown. Do
you see it? Those pretty curves in the frame, set off by those
I agree that bike is splendid looking. I also believe the Cheviot name and
head badge is the best non Middle Earth based one. That said I agree with
Grant that it might be different enough from the original Cheviot to earn its
own moniker.
Most importantly I expect it will be very well recei
It lives, it's in the new newsletter and here's the pic. I have the somewhat
dubious distinction (I think) of being the first "outsider" to know about this
project when Grant and Will mentioned it to me at RBW last year. So now I'll
start the thread!
It's fancy and swoopy and I dig it. I also d
