I too have been riding on ITS MK2 2.1s. They have a real magic carpet ride
feeling. I got them when Jensen was blowing out their inventory for what
amounted to chump change. I expect the Compasses to sell at premium prices,
but even so I'll have no complaints.

Awesome news! I'm among those wanting a 26 x 2" Compass tire.
You don't need much tread gravel, but I hope they have a bit more tread
than the Barlow Pass and similar. Something between a Barlow Pass and a
Rock N Road, basically. The Pasela tread of the thinner Compass 26" tires
would be OK, if
Over on I-Bob, someone linked a new bike model by Rawland and the
description mentioned these tires. Jan has hinted a few times that a
fatter, more supple 26" tire might be a good addition and this seems to
indicate that it may be happening!
