It will darken the honey leather, more than just riding will, and it will
not soften it disastrously, as oil will, but it has silicone in it, and I
don't know how pure the silicone used is.

Any problems If I use Tectron Sno-Seal (beeswax paste) on a new, previously
unsealed Brooks honey-colored saddle? I'm out of both Proofide and Obeneuf
wax. The local REI only has the Tectron and I don't want to pay for shipping
for a small container.
