I used the Sheldon method. Go around big big and add two links. You probably
will add 3 or 4 inches from your second chain.

How many link have you had to add to a 116 link chain to get an appropriate
chain length for the Appaloosa? My drivetrain is pretty standard, 46/36/26T
crank w/ 11-34T 9 speed cassette.
