I have a wide foot, wouldn't dream of wearing the Adidas. I use Chaco sandals, Teva Dozers and a well loved pair of Blundstones. Oh and on one occasion my Clark's work shoes. I can't say I've had noticeable loss in power transfer due to too much flex in the sole, but I haven't paid attention either
