The moral of the story: just get the Sugino ;) You could measure the distance from the centerline of the bike to the middle chainring. According to Sheldon Brown, the official distance is 47.5 mm. Perhaps yours is farther out? That q factor is SUPER huge in any case. Even if you used the shor
