Hey Mike, I don't have the answer about the double top tube but I enjoy
looking at my bike almost as much as riding it! Especially after a
complete take apart and cleaning!

A friend gave me for the cost of shipping this old bike that had been
given to him and it sat under his deck outside for three years. It was a
mess in terms of dirt and grease and things growing up through the spokes.

never failed. I have also a set of 40 spoke wheels with edco hubs without
failure with well over 350 pounds.
