I’m waiting for some of the parts to come in. I’ll post a new bike day when
done, with story. In the meantime, try a Platy! I think she’ll love it.

One of the best pieces of advice I got on this board. Pack everything into
a big bag--in my case one of the $2 cheapie backpacks with the string-- and
put THAT into the pannier or the saddle bag or basket of that day's ride.
Pannier might get dirty, but that bag is
Congratulations, Jim. Bike looks perfect. My first Riv was an Appaloosa
too. I couldn’t believe how great a ride could be. One day you might take
it on a long unhindered and think “ this bike can do everything
comfortably.”

d nothing for the bike in
general. My third bike (also a Riv) has Ergon grips, as did all my
previous bikes. Next to actually learning about Riv and buying one, Ergon
grips were the best investment I made to help alleviate my neck pain while
riding.

Congratulations to everyone who are getting bicycles for those of you that
this is a first Riv. This is the ultimate Riv that I’ve never owned. My
bet is that you’ll ride it for two minutes, and then wonder what you
waited for. I wish you all the most happiness in the saddle.

PS
Congratulations to everyone who are getting bicycles

same Ergon white grips as Leah on my mermaid Platy. They were
hard to find and I’m not sure if they’re made any longer. I LOVE her new
grips but I think they might look too heavy on my Platy, which has a more
lightness vibe.
