+1 on home roasting! I have been doing this for the last year or so now and

I am starting the new year off by selling my Rivendell Bleriot. Purchased
2nd hand in 2018. I have ridden many miles in many states with this bike
and truly love it. I have gone back and forth on whether to part ways, but

FYI, a few years ago I ordered a frame from VeloMine and had to call for
some reason, but during that call I had asked about their wheelsets and was
told they are just the stock wheels that QBP sells. They just purchase mass
amounts of them and sell them. So any bike shop with a QBP account can

Hey Folks,
I am dramatically downsizing my life and getting rid of almost all my bike
stuff I've been hoarding. Prices include shipping (CONUS) except for bikes
which are local pickup only for now. All prices are net to me. Discounts

I just called and ordered a rebuild kit for my VP-001's from Riv last week.
They had 4 in stock when I called.
I had the same click. Attempted to take them apart and stripped out the

Hey RBW people. I had been hanging onto these rims and hubs for a long time

Someone should buy this bike!!!
I have this bike. Or at least had. I just sold it off to my friend who wanted
it (but it's still at my house). I don't see many of the 1985's. It's good to
see yours. Mine has gone through many iterations. Sweep back bars, slick tires

After building and riding many bikes that have been cheaper Rivendell inspired

Unfortunately I bought it at a time when biking and bike tinkering were mostly

I've used Obenaufs for years, and have more recently been using Huberd's
for leather shoes, boots, and leather notebooks. It smells great, but maybe
not quite as weather resistant as Obenaufs. For that reason I use Obenaufs
on my Brooks saddles.

I have had this idea to make a stem cap that allows you to use a quill bolt.
Then you could use a threadless adapter+threadless stem as one quill stem and
just use spacers to cover the ugliness. Does anyone know if such a stem cap
