I'm heading the other direction. I want one bike that has all the things
the way I like them and one bike I can focus my attention and accessories
on. When COVID started I had 6 bikes and 0 Rivendell's. I found a
Hunqapillar from a friend here on the group and now have it and another
bike. Soon
If you sold it parted out, I'd love to have the Mark's front rack.

Good luck Max. I was on the same quest when an amazing person from this
group, Matthew Williams, saw one and let me know about it. I posted here
every ~6 months letting folks know I was still looking and it took a few
years to find one in my size, but it did happen eventually. It's a cool
bike,
Hoch you thinking of getting one or did you find a 58 and wondering if
it'll fit? It took me a few years to find mine so if you find one in your
size, be ready to act :)

I was hoping for some advice, but I got that and a bunch of awesome photos.
Just wow ya'll. And so many hunqapillars crawling around :) I'm hearing a
lighter rear rack and a larger trunk should do me nicely until i get more
serious. I'll see what I can find in terms of a sackville or similar. Jo

I've been trolling through old Riv Reader's, some fun reading I remember
doing a long time ago when those were new. Thanks for sharing and archiving!
Question though, and it's probably an easy one. I own a Hunqapillar and
love it. When was the Hunq offered? What years and how many years? Any ide
Sorry bout that. If I could only have one Rivendell it would be a
Hunqapillar. If I could only have one bike that wouldn't be it though. I
live in Portland Oregon, I need disc brakes for winter commuting. I did rim
brakes for many years and rebuilding wheels gets old.

Fun videos, I like the casual pace, which seems to match your vibe
perfectly. A trick I learned for applying grease to the stem and
seat-post... and this is free advice so you get a 100% refund if it doesn't
work for you. Apply the grease to the head tube and seat tube, not the
seatpost or stem
Hello,
Winter is coming **
And so fenders are needed. I have a Hunqapillar with some big 2.1" tires.
My fender requirements are that they must fit, be pretty and not too short.
I like long fenders because long fenders + mud-flaps keep the muck off.

Beautiful bike and I disagree about your wordpress skills. Fun stuff.

Hey all,
Next week I'll get a new-to-me Hunqapillar and I don't prefer the current
drop bars. I'd like to switch to a more upright setup, but unsure which.
The Bullmoose caught my eye, I like the taper more than bars that come
straight back. What other options are good ones? How does one go abou
Hey all,
I'm still in search of a 58cm Hunq. I got the hunq bug, I think. I'm open
to frame/fork/headset or built up bikes. I'm in Portland, Or, if that makes
any difference whatsoever? :) Anyhoo, if you happen to see an extra one
lying around your garage or bike shop that needs a new home, plea
Keen looking bike, though the PH seems to be a bit basic for my liking :)
I've often wondered the same about a Cosmic Stallion type bike vs a Riv Joe
A. I'm tempted to sell the herd and simplify... How's braking vs. disc?
Rim brakes are just so retro and less effective than disc, especially
Lambbo, you can use a circular file to remove some of the material at the
end of the caliper arm, thereby allowing you to run the pads slightly
lower. I've had to do this as well.
As for long-reach brakes in the wet. I have a rim-brake road bike that was
my daily commuter here in Portland,
