I just spoke with someone at Save Mount Diablo (Trey?) who knows the
trails well - Mangini Ranch is still closed off to the public - you
must be on a led tour/hike to be on the land (for insurance purposes).
I asked if there was a way around since the map showed a lot of
private roads and no trai
"just be aware that there are a lot of steep hills in the dirt ... be
prepared to walk some"
I would love the challenge. I have many years on the mountain bike
and for the past year have been using my cross bike as a mountain bike

I just picked up a map made by Save Mount Diablo (http://
www.savemountdiablo.org/DiabloTrailMAPHomepage.htm) and noticed that
it was published back in 2007. In it, the greyed out trails going
through Mangini Ranch say "No public access" and the only thing I can
find on the internet is that back
