I've got a used Medium/Large Acorn Saddlebag and a new Boxy Rondo Acorn
bag.
The Med/Large saddlebag has some wear at the very bottom where it touched
my back rack and the D-rings on the top are a bit discolored. It's the
older style with the two pockets on back instead of the zippered side
My wife has caught the Rivendell bug. I'm looking for a 52/50 cm in decent
shape.

I'm thinking about heading south for a few days and doing some riding. I
live in northern Michigan. I'd like to go some place that's gets me out of
the snow. I'd like to camp in one place and day ride 2/3 days.
Any suggestions?

I went to buy an Acorn Boxy Rondo Bag and noticed they've changed
their styles and colors. Does anyone have an older tan Boxy Rondo bag
they would like to sell?
Thanks, John

I was riding a 57" at the time I was sized. I expected to go up to a

What everyone "needs" is just two bikes -- an A. Homer Hilsen for
everything fast and an Atlantis for everything gnarly. You've already
got a Sam, which is like the A. Homer. So, just sell everything and
buy an Atlantis and you'll be good to go. Everything else goes in the
"want" column!!

I ride whatever I have on. I've found that any minor difference in
the feel is more than made up for taking the time to decide which shoe
to wear. So, I don't try to decide and just go ride.

I've got Planet Bike Cascade 45's on Panaracer Pasela's. It was a
real hassle to get them on and adjusted and there is not much room.
I'm looking at getting something else (fenders, not bike) for next
year.

That sounds great. I'd be interested, though I'm in Michigan. Being
retired, I could manipulate my time pretty easy.
Will there be a "Senior" division?

Just wanted to echo my satisfaction with The Country Bike Store. They
spent all day on a Saturday fitting me. I ordered the frame and they

Hi all,
I'm having a lot of trouble with my MKS Tour pedals on my new A. Homer
Hilsen. First, both pedals started having a "clicking" sound. I
didn't really know what I was doing, but I took them apart and
loosened the adjusting nut 1/4 turn. That seemed to fix the problem.
Then, the left pedal

Does anyone know of a campground in the Minneapolis area where a guy
could drive to and then bike into the city on a bike trail? I may be
visiting friends later in the year and would like to camp, but would
want to leave my truck at the campsite and travel by bike while there.

Thanks all,
I'm buying the bike at The Country Bike Shop in Ohio -- they're a
Rivendell dealer. The owner (Dick) was great to work with and spent
all day with me getting the right fit. I tried a number of sizes of
Hillbourns and Hilsens. The second I got on the 61cm Hilsen I knew I

I've ordered an A. Homer Hilsen. I've got a bit of a worry. At 220

Won't be too long before they'll be another Northern MI Rivendell.
I've got one on order and should have it in a month or so. Guess I'll
have to get over to Frankfort and try the ride. I did see a Saluki
about a month ago in Petoskey on the Wheelway. I was in a hurry and
