Hi Oliver,
You may have heard enough already, but I thought I'd throw my 2 cents in:
I've had 4 different models of RH tires mounted solely on Velocity
Cliffhanger rims (700c and 650B with an IW of 25mm), and all have measured
exactly as the label on their sidewalls indicate. Cliffhangers ar
Hello all,
Weird that this is my first time ever responding or posting anything to

Hi Kurt,
I'm looking to do just the same. I've had great success running 60-622 Big
Apples mounted on Dyads, with SKS 65s, on my Bombadil as a commuter set up
(for the jungles of Oakland and San Francisco). But I am now running
60-622 G-Ones on the wider Cliffhangers (tubeless! Uh oh...), and
I'm with Tim on the Schwalbe Super Moto. I ran the 60-622 BAs for awhile,
then 50-622 Supremes to fit the fenders I have. When the fenders came off
and I went back to the BAs, they felt so 'clod-hoppy' that I splurged on
the the 60-622 Super Moto (not 'X'). They feel so supple, sprightly, and
I had placed an order for one of the last batch of Quickbeam (silver), and
switched it up after I test road one of the prototype Bombadils over at HQ.
This is what I ended up with after I built it up the first time:

David,
I have an earlier version of this:

It is fantastic. It can either be 'on' (steady on, no flash), or 'pulse'
which does not flash, but rather 'glows' on and off. It comes with the
standard seat post/tube strap-mou
So sad he is gone... so glad he was here. What an inspiration, a beacon of
how to live freely, a creative soul. All of his bikes are works of art.
He will be missed by multitudes, but I feel he will touch the hearts of
even more.

duh. But I still advocate using a 1" mounted to your steerer within your
headset stack, if there's room.

Here's a vote for the fork-crown mounted Tektro cable housing stop.
Mine's with a Nitto mini front rack. Works like a dream. The 7/8", as
already confirmed, mounts directly to the stem (quill or bullmoose), the 1"
around the steerer of which that quill stem or bullmoose slides into,

Your bike looks fantastic. Nice fender-line up there, and nice to know the
60 Berthouds will work with the 60-622 BAs on the Dyad... on a Bomba.
Thanks for posting.
