While living in Michigan, my favorite trivia question was: which state has the
most shoreline? People would normally answer ether Florida or California.
Answer is Michigan. Don't believe me?look at a map - it's surrounded by the
Great Lakes. Beautiful state - except for the Motor City.

Yes, the controls look a lot sparser than my (orange Hilsen) 90 hour start.

I agree on the tires. They are excellent. On the HH you do not need to be
concerned with glass but you do need to watch out for riders that suddenly stop
on the hills. The ride is notorious for that.

I agree. I have a Rambouillet, Hilsen, Quickbeam, and a Specialize Roubaix.
While none of the Riv's are close to the 16 pound Roubaix (although the Ram
comes in at 19 pounds), I find I'm mainly picking the Riv's for long hilly
rides. For the recent 1000k brevet in Tn I rode Homer.
