I ride a 62cm bike and no rack works that looks right. I built 2 Ron's pec
decks but I'd just skip the hassle and buy the Rod Steward bag support. The
pec deck are solid as a rock.

What’s your brake setup? If you’re using cantis, there’s a nice trick to keep the bag from affecting your brake cable action and still secure it to your head tube.Mine actually kinda rests on my front rack tombstone, but not the rack platform itself On Oct 14, 2024, at 7:13 PM, Donzaemon wrote:Hi
Great story Josh. If Riv cannot furnish a head badge, check with Jen Green

I have wondered if the Nitto 32r might mitigate this problem with that
little loop it has at the bottom.
Anyone ever tried a 32r on "larger" sized frames?
Seems like it would just sit a little lower in profile. (closer to the
wheel)
Also curious about these racks,

Orthos look nice, but may be too wide for me.
Very happy with my 60cm Toscos. So pleased, in fact, that from here on out
I only plan to ride bikes that can accommodate Ortho (or Losco) bars.

-GirlGang, thanks for the reply. She is an awesome kid. Also, it selfishly
makes me happy to get out with the whole fam on Rivs.
-Eric, it was a good price at $1000, but it also needed to go to someone
who knows their way around a bike, to be honest. It has beausage,
scratches, and paint chips
After Josh C’s excellent NBD For my Daughter thread, I thought about Clems

they have grown up riding Clems. I got a lot of raised eyebrows when I
Hi all,
I picked up a Ron's Fabio's Chest in the large size a while back for
another bike, but I'm considering using it on my Homer (mounted to the
handlebars). That said, between the long head tube and tall stack stem, I'm
not sure there are any racks that would work as a bag support. For thos

I haven’t checked the videos. I’m coming off of gorey hollows with analog cycles and not in the mood for hiking so I’m going to lean towards road and gravel if those are options.Franco Rinaldi c: 646.403.0661 -Pardon any typos, Siri typed this message-On Oct 14, 2024, at 4:06 PM, James M wrote:H
Have you checked out the videos and photos from previous years? Also -
Ronnie Romance usually posts the routes the week before the ride, including
a tire width recommendation for each route, it feels like 38/42's are
usually the recommended minimum.

This year is my first year and plan on doing the opposite - riding my Sam
which is a new build instead of my tanglefoot. Any reason why you’re
switching this year? Is it more of a mtb ride?

Also of note it has 650B wheels vs 700C for the other proto sizes. The
wheel and tire info would imply that but I wanted to be clear about the
info I have.

Looks like that is around 570 which is a bit longer than the Roadini but
that makes sense as its designed for sweptback. I can see if I can get
anything more official from Rivendell too.

Hi Johnny,
Not in the market myself but folks might like to know the effective toptube
measurement, straight across from seatpost to headtube, C-to-C.

Hey all,
In search of 54-56 Atlantis, Appa, Bombadil/Hunq(why not shoot for the
moon?), or 56/59 Susie/Clem Frame. Really looking for something with Canti
studs that can fit 2"+ tires for more trail/mountain/bike camping riding.
My wife has been stealing my Sam away for rides with her friends
I'm glad someone in the Riv family picked that bike up and is putting it to
good use. I was tempted at the price it was listed, thankfully it was too
small and I didn't pick it up to let it linger in the garage. Hopefully
