I'll look at those both.
I did dip into the Universal website for a minute. most of what they seem
to offer in wheels was for Disc brakes. and I am not there yet. I couldn't
find much for Rim brakes.
but I wrote them, told them what I needed and asked what they suggested.
thanks for the
I might be up for that!

I only wish I was cruising Vanderbilt on the tandem! Haven’t had it out in
about a year😩😭. Need to make a for sale post, but if anyone local can
come up with $2500 for a cliffhangered SON hubbed orange beauty of a big
tandem (Silver cranks, the works!…), let me know

Yes, that's what I see. Thanks again all.
OTOH, one big advantage for me with the email interface is convenience: I
can create a "Lists" list including iBob, RBW, CR, and -- just saw this on
Google Groups! -- a Trikes list and dump it all into one "big list" on
which I can rapidly scan all heading
It's 83.5. And I'm running a 170 crank. I believe mine is a 2019 or 20
frame so should be the current model.

Thanks to you both! @lugwork, Is that an old chart? The sizes are not what
Riv is currently offering on the Sam.
Lance, thanks for the info. Out of curiosity: what's your saddle height
(center of BB to top of saddle) in that pic?

I have one of the new frames, 60. I did some quick measuring and came up
with:
Standover with 38 gravel kings is 91mm toward the front and 87mm just ahead
of the seat. The top tube measures on a level line back from the headset to
the seat post, center to center, 61mm. Mine is set up with noodle
I appreciated the comparison. I have a 58 cm Quickbeam that I am about to
list because I bought a BMC Monstercross in the most recent production
run. I have always wanted one, and I have not been reaching for the
Quickbeam much recently.

Good questions.
while I am experienced in the world of traditional 700c road bikes and
wheels, I am something of a novice at anything the style of a Rivendell.
But first, Some history, context.
I got this SH frame almost by accident. my plumber was given it to settle
some debt I think, and aske
Hi all,
Does anyone have a current model 60cm Sam Hillborne they can measure? I'm
looking for effective top tube (c-c) and stand over height with 42ish mm
tires.
I'm trying to figure out sizing for current model Sams. I believe I'm right
on the edge of sizing with a 89cm PBH/78cm saddle heigh
Hate to miss this…have fun 🤩

Peter, If you can be more specific of what exactly you're looking for
that'd help me to give you some direction.
The given is the 135mm 700c wheelset.

acceptable otherwise ?
Do you care if the spokes are double butted or straigh
