Holy Moly, a Paul Flatbed? Sorry for the semi-zombie revival, and thread
drift and all that, but how'd that Flatbed work for you, Jim? I've had one
forever, trot it out now and then, find it always cool, but kinda floppy.

Agreed, it's a riot that you're bringing both bikes. You're one of a kind,
Leah.

What I most love about this is the question was only about whether you
would take the Platy, *too. *There was never a doubt the Clem was going and
now you're headed to the North with both bikes. That's some serious
commitment to Rivendells and riding!

Excellent, Chris!
My 58mm G-One Speeds had some self-steer, where they’d try to climb the
crown of the road, or suddenly get grabbed by a crack in the asphalt. The
BQs you’re getting explain the physics of the runner, I think. I only

Like the title says, I am looking for a 52cm rambouillet. Complete is
preferred but will consider a frame. Anyone have one they want to move
along?

Selling my lightly used Rivendell SimpleOne. I purchased this frameset

Thanks for the clarification. I ordered both issues and look forward to
reading them and maybe re-subscribing.
Also, my Endurance casings had their first test today. I rode thru about
900 feet of grass and when I got back on pavement, I heard a clicking sound

I tell ya it's madness out there, Dave. I offered up some bars and a stem
with prices, plus a feeler for a hard-to-ship Bullmoose in anticipation of
changing stuff on my Susie. I ended up selling everything right away and
looked around and realized..I got not bars on the Susie now! 🤣

Thank you all for the helpful input. Sounds like I’ll be shopping for some

I can run 38s, and I am running 35s with fenders, but had help to make it
fit. 33s were no problem with fenders. I have an orange Ram.

I also had an orange Ram and the max tire clearance under Tektro R539
brakes was about 37mm. Slightly less vertical clearance in the back versus
the front.

Chris, it's an article in issue 75 following the one about performance of
knobby tires.
I have been seeing the thickness of the issues does reflect more of Jan's
rides but as an engineer and bicyclist he cannot help letting the riding
become reporting on how the hardware handled things I like
On my blue Ram, 32s (Kojak 1.35s which may have measured 31mm on Open Pros)
fit under SKS fenders with some squeezing at seatstay bridge, but
acceptable. I think that fenders take up about 5mm of tire size but I'd
guess that 37-38 might be the max.

I'm building up a Clem now and am wondering what your stem/bar set up is on

Sorry for the confusion. I tossed the fenders in the trash long ago, and
want to run “slick” tires.

ride not the more she stays behind. But please please, like everyone has
said already, take all bikes with you in the hotel. Do not even leave them
