I have the bullmoose Loscos on my Gus so the flex is actually comfortable
for me. And I do prefer the flare and width of the Losco over the Bosco
since I have wide shoulders. One nit though: I don't like how short the
grip area is relative to the Nittos.

Meanwhile I was reading about how flexy they are and it was selling me on
wanting Losco's more than I already did! I like the idea of as much
built-in suspension as I can get, provided the steering is still precise
enough.

There's somebody on paceline with a bunch of new C19 saddles to sell. No
connection to the sale, I don't get commission, not sure if I even know the

All very interesting. I'm going to start with the Losco's first since
there's more real estate on that bar.
I have an Albatross bar on my Homer and love it! So, I put one on my Joe A
and really disliked it! I swapped out Joe's Albatross back to the original

Never tried the Losco bars, but I liked the stiffness of the bullmoose

Two saddles, both in as-new condition.
- The original C17 (with metal seat loops) in slate color.
- The newer C-17 carved (all weather edition in black).
Each one is $75 shipped CONUS, or name a fair price and let's go from there.

I got Grant a more manly version. And I’m having cards made with my bikes on
them, and under each photo is a cycling quote. I quoted him! So, when those
come, I’ll send his PlatyPin along with it. It’s made in France from pewter!

I notice the flex from normal riding. I do not ride “loaded” other than my fat
ass. I’m not sure how a loaded bike would impart more force to the handle bar,
if loads are not placed on the bar.

Rivendell used to do presales, not so much with bicycles any more. I would
imagine there may have been some issues for the company to do
presales--maybe too many people backing out? Who knows, but a lot of small
batch companies are doing it this way, from bag makers to niche
manufacturers like
James, your experience with the Losco was similar to my experience with the
Billie bars. I found the Billie's and an 11CM stem on my Atlantis to be too
flexy when carrying a load. I ended up going back to albatross bars on a
slightly shorter stem. A little flex was fine, but it was just too much
