I remeasured. It's 41 cm outside to outside.

That's not any different from Shimano A530.
In my opinion, the problem with these half-fish, half-fowl pedals is that
Since moving to FL, I find I need a fishing rod holder for my Clem L. The
Hobie H-crate rod tube holder works well. I anchored the bottom of the rod
holder to the frame using one of the frame’s accessory holes behind the
rear axle, then zip-tied the top of the rod holder to my Pletscher rack.

Patrick - I understand what you mean about those pedals. I myself didn't
like the campus pedals, not so much for the 'rat-trap'-like platform side,
but for ease (rather un-ease) of being able to clip in and out of the SPD
side. Unlike your experience, I like and now use the Shimano A530's on
I have several, maybe even three, pairs of Performance "campus pedals" in
my parts box. They have the SPD clip in one side and a "rat trap" like
surface on the other (the kind that used to be common on toe clip/strap
type pedals. They can be yours for the asking. I just want to reduce the

The Monocog gets ridden on bosque singletrack and sandy acequia roads,
where I prefer to be clipped in, but also gets used to drag the dog on his
2-mile run, where flat pedals would be convenient.
I've used the standard Shimano M324 and A530 several times, and don't
really like either -- they're n

Just for reference, at 6'3", 36" PBH, 32" saddle height, I was pretty
comfortable on the 61 Roadini when I briefly owned one this summer. And
especially if you want your saddle above the bars, a 57cm is probably the
way to go.

Hi All,
Not that I "need" another project but recent posts have me intrigued about
this bike, plus I have a lot of parts to use up. Not sure of size...I'm
5'11" with PBH 90, ideal saddle height 79. Seems like I'm between the 61
and 57. Normally ride with saddle maybe 1-2 " above HB.
