Then there's the one on Leah's Clem which is even taller and I'd never heard of
until she found it somewhere. Will @ Riv didn't know about it, either.

Roberta,
It can be a little confusing because once upon a time there was a Technomic and
a Technomic Deluxe which were different quill lengths, then Riv starting
selling a tall one called Tallux which is some variation on Technomic. All
cleared up, right? 😂

They're great. I have both sizes. The medium is perfect for commuting. The

Sounds like there are few up in the area. I just did the Carter Lake route
from Loveland and it was an excellent country ride. It's got enough
climbing for me, for sure and nice rolling terrain. I'm estimating 25-30
miles. That could be fun and do a coffee brew up at the marina! I don't

I live in a high bike-theft city, so choosing an extra sturdy rack,
checking it that it's in good shape, making sure to lock to the right part
of the rack, using two locks (and going around at least one wheel) is just
part of normal lock-up. I also always try to lock up in front of a cafe or

Not sure which Eric you’re asking, but I scan my negatives with an Epson V550
Photo scanner. It has carriers for 35mm and 120 film. Also works as a flatbed
scanner for printed materials.
Not the fastest, but the cost to upgrade to the nicer version wasn’t worth the

One more question about this bar...for anyone..
Could someone who is currently using the bar give me a sense of the forward
reach for the hand position that is the curved & dropped area when the
stem is moderately low to slammed?
I know this would change depending on head tube angle ,, etc bu
Thanks Joe
I think the optical illusion with this bar and photos is based on how much
ppl slam the stem or not.
To my eye, and knowing what I know about how I like to set up my bikes, a
bike with this bar set up high doesn't seem that it would be comfortable to
me, however on some of the photos
Ball peen.
Hammer the end of the threaded stub into a rivet retaining the nut, bike
rack, locks and bike. Three accurate strikes of a fair sized one should do.
