You really can't beat a Son hub with Edelux light. I commuted in the dark
for several years with this system and it always performed flawlessly.
However, I'm between generator-powered bikes right now - the Rambler is
dead, the custom not finished. So I'm investigating less expensive options.

If you're jonesing for a Rambouillet, I have an original orange,
fancy-lugged 62 that I just don't ride much anymore. It's in really good
condition. I would love for it to find a good home and am willing to make a
deal.

Wish I had a trade that you would be interested in, would be happy to be
generous if you were open to selling the Rambouillet.

Would love to hear any takeaways from the Riv booth at the Bike Expo! I'm
particularly interested in the latest version of the Hillybikes on display
there, if any. And of course pics would be great. I am in New York, but

To be clear for the OP, Woody fenders aren't going to correlate to curved SKS

get less real-world rain protection in exchange for fitting fat rubber.

I have a 67. The MUSA Homer is, for me, a bike that hits the sweet spot.
Takes bigger tires and is better on unpaved surfaces than the old Ram, and
is a better unloaded road bike than the MUSA Atlantis.
It's a great bike -- hopefully there's a tall person out there who will
commit and enjoy it
Bumping it up. Do all of the tall people already have a Homer?

It amuses me when CL ads get all opinionated and editorial like this. As if the
