My wife's bike has SKS fenders with the secu clips holding the front fender
stays to the drop out braze on. When a stick popped up between the tire and
stays, the clips did their thing perfectly. However, now I can't get the
fender stays to slip back into the secu clips. What is the secret?

Craig, those are gorgeous bags, and you make a strong case for them. I only
wish there were a size between the small fronts (28 liters) and the enormous
rears (54 liters!).
I am usually of a “go bigger, why not?” mindset. But these are really large.
Choices, choices….arrgh! Big or small?

Roman has built a beautiful Legolas. Excellent mix of beautiful and

I used to have the same Shimano road brake levers but I sold the bike years
ago and I cannot recall the model.
Didn't Rivendell sell these at one time?
The road was a killer. My buddy was on his Specialized Expedition which was
mounted with Nimbus tires. I think they were Specialized too. Hard as
rocks. By the time we got to the ghost town he had used every expletive in
the book.
