Thanks! So far 2cm seems reasonable. Thanks pics would help as well.

In which I ride up Lovell, making it the back way to Rampart Reservoir to avoid
boat trailer traffic on the narrow cañon road and am greeted all along the way

Maybe it would work for the "gravel grinder" market, but I don't think those
folks are buying bars from Riv. Sounds like the kind of product lark - remember
that D-shaped rack and bag that fit over a Mark's Rack? - that they're trying
to avoid these days.

I'm sure the 666mm Crust bars are way too wide for most, but I love them. And
they don't really make them anyway, I was just in the right place when they
brought out the one run. I keep waiting for someone to put a wide drop bar into
production.
I think a 58 Noodle would be a huge hit for a lot
I was thinking of you, Patrick, on today’s ride round Rampart Reservior that we
rode. In contrast to your desert riding and water consumption, I did 40ish
miles on 28oz water and 20oz cold coffee. 70˚F and 30% humidity, half sunny
half clouds.

Yes. The center of the BB, and the center of the top of the head tube.
It’s a useful system to compare different bikes, together with head tube and

You can compare the bikes on graph paper. Or, it’s not hard to create a

Ok so stack is vertical distance BB to top of headtube, reach is horizontal
distance BB to top of headtube. Is that right?

Same problem for me. I was commuting in the Baltimore region this winter
when the bushings started to bind. They use a LOT of salt here! They don't
get a lot of snow, but there is ice/slush. Inner bushing is binding to the
outer brake arm.

It's the vertical distance between the center of the crank and the top(?)
of the head tube, so it gives *some idea *of how tall the front end will
feel. I emphasize "some idea" because factors like BB drop, frame reach,
head and seat tube angles, etc. can make the same stack number feel wildly

Fellas, Patrick is a strong rider, to that I can attest. I rode with him on the

Hi Folks,
I'd love to buy a pair or two of MUSA shorts. From what I can tell, I would be
a medium in the old style and possibly a small in the new style. The more
well-worn the better because I don't want to spend a ton of money on shorts.
I could also offer up some worn-in size 33 Patagonia S
