I have both. I've drifted from the Grip Kings mainly because I felt in damp
conditions they were not so grippy. I also grew to not love the look. The
RMX are closer to a "regular looking" (whatever the heck that is these
days) pedal. I bought two pair from Riv for my tandem. They are just dandy.
If you mean folded slacks and a t-shirt, it definitely will. One of the nifty
things about the 'soft sides' design of these bags is you can get a little
crazy with overstuff

Laing, You may have tried this with the Grip Kings, but if not, perhaps worth a
shot? Lower your saddle by a half inch and shift yoru feet forward on the
pedals. See how that feels, especially with higher torque, slower cadance
climbs.
