Doug,
It actually fits 3 and half the roof slides back to make it easier to get them
in and out. Nice shed. I think it's by Rubbermaid.
I still don't want to sleep in it!

Hi - those are WTB slicks - they're excellent. I found them in the UK on

It is the smallest largest size I would put her on, meaning, there are
smaller wheels sizes but they feel the road more than a 26" wheel and they
are standard.

Congrats
Love those fork leg bends. Nice.
What tires are those and how much do they cost? From the pics they look like
they may be a nice alternative to the Compass slicks tires.

We need a sliding scale. Me:
Assembly: 10/10 Felix
Choice of components: 10/10 Felix
Adjustment of body-supporting parts: 10/10 Felix
Modifications: 9/10 Felix
Gearing selection: 10/10 Felix
Drivetrain upkeep: 9/10 Felix
Other moving parts, upkeep: 8/10 Felix
Dirt on the frame and shiny bits: 7/10
I'm sure you could make that comfy with new curtains and rugs! :)

And interesting, but not surprising, to read that the Riv tandem exhibits

Chris,
You're welcome Sir. I think 2.6 would fit...might have to let some air out
to get 'em through the brakes but pretty sure they'd work.

Thanks for posting the clearance pics! I've been following some of the
online chatter on dedicated MTB's and many people think the industry is
going to settle on 27.5 x 2.6 tires rather than full 3" tires. It looks
like those would be a possibility on this bike.

Keith,
Here's a better pic of the crown and an attempt to show the brake
cable...I'm planning on using flat fenders and will need to grind away some
wood to clear the cables.

Keith,
The pic of the crown is misleading, I think there would be room for fenders.
The brace between the seat stays is pretty close though, and with a 2.4 tire,
the brake cables would be an issue. My plan is to get wooden fenders and I'll
be able to "shape" them to fithopefully.
