I have known for a while that I only like flared drop bars (Midge,
Woodchipper, etc), so it makes no sense to hang on to these bars.
Here's a selection of drops, flats and priesty bars for sale. Shipping is

Compared to my 60cm Rambouillet, a 61cm Road Standard has 1.5cm longer top
tube, 1cm shorter chain stays, .5 degree steeper head tube and probably
will only take a 32 tire. Numbers are nice, but I'm curious if anyone has
first hand experience with both? Is the ride similar? Is one sportier,

I say let Rivendell be Rivendell. If they need to sell a TIG welded frame

Grant & Crew to be a lugs-only boutique shop if that also means they go out
of business. Let them innovate and experiment, I don't think they're going

Yeah, no-handed rideability probably has many contributing factors besides
wheelbase, front end geometry being on the list of course

I think everyone loves the color, and those who get one will have something
to be proud of. Bill and I were having fun with words. It's more like an
iridescent chrome than an opaque or metal-flake paint.
