I thought it was cool that when I got brakes from Rivendell, they came
wrapped in a Japanese newspaper. Of course it would have been
slightly cooler if it was an Elvish newspaper.

I think the tubes I use are regular weight 35-38mm 700c tubes in my 2" 700c
(29er) tires. These tubes weigh a bit less than regular 29er tubes, and I
like saving that little bit of weight off of the huge amount of mass that's
already there. Mentally makes me faster.

Thanks Mike,
I took this with my iPhone 4 and the ProHDR app. It creates amazing images
by taking two real different photographs and then aligning them together
automatically. You obviously cannot use it for moving objects, but for
landscapes and static elements in the pictures it is amazing.

Being on the A.H.H I am the black sheep. Everyone thinks I'm loony. I
have not purchased anything from our shop besides tubes and tires for
probably 5 years. Nothin we sell really get my blood going, except..
I use the Schwalbe 19A recommended tubes for the 50 - 60mm tires and they
hold air like forever... I get them at Wallingford Bikes,

They are a bit pricier but they're a bit lighter and they last forever.

Do you means size or brand? I have Conti, Cycle Pro and other "29er"
tubes that will work in anything from a 45 to (in my case) a 65 (the
Contis are labeled "28"). I've had problems with Cycle Pro (I think
that's the brand; cheaper ones) in smaller sizes but not so far with
the fat ones -- possibly
I just went to the shop and asked for 29er tubes. Bontrager brand
makes some.

I even strayed from the SA.)
