Having a fantastic day with family now in the books, I found myself
with beautiful weather and an open day.
Time for a ride.
I took some familiar trails but did a bunch of meandering and
exploring. Turned a 45 minute route into a 2 hour ride. Rode to a
reservoir near my house which I usually ride
That's my recollection too John. I think it was mainly smaller tubing size (to
get a livelier feel) and a low trail fork for front loading. Based, as I
understand it, partly on feedback from Sogn owners and looking around at what
was missing the market. And well, the original Sogns were all gone
+1 on McPhee...lot's of titles, favorite lately in the Pine Barrens.
Check out Alistair Humphreys' books. He wrote a 2 book set on several
years' touring around the world.
