Riv does have em in stock now, but I thought I'd check the list first
for any used racks (this is for a budget 650B conversion project). If
not I'll end up ordering a new one.

a number of things and low and behold they had a mark's rack in stock
despite much claims to their website. Check with the staff sometimes
they can surprise you.

When I rode the Great Divide, there were stretches when I was riding
with people on full suspension rigs and bob trailers, and they had to
limit their speed on descents, otherwise their trailers would fishtail
and become unstable. I used front and rear panniers, and the bike was
solid, even reach
The Saddlesack small is a nice bag. Rode with one for a weeks worth of
commutes. Quality is great but I prefer a rear trunk with a front
basket.

The arch has a long history of being a go to choice for holding a lot

Definitely will! I have the Bruce made version - the Rock 'n Road.
Bruce actually understates tire and fender clearance. I am currently
set up with Schwalbe Supremes 700
