I'd also *strongly* recommend using InnoDB for the MySQL table handler - I
sincerely doubt MyISAM will perform well in the environment you're looking
at.
Plus make full use of mysql's 'EXPLAIN' keyword to optimise your table
indexes based on the queries radiator's performing.

No, it doesn't, although you can get commercial support for it.
IIRC, yes, although I always do custom compiles since I'm on Solaris 2.8 and
MySQL don't provide a 64-bit version.
I'm happy to answer questions about InnoDB, MySQL etc. but let's take it off
list since it isn't directly radiator-rel
I don't know much about InnoDB.
Does it require a commercial license ?
It seems InnoDB is enabled by default in Mysql 4.0. Correct ?

Is there a way to
enable all handlers to use a single AuthLOG? I.e. we have many, many
handlers and need to log success/failures to find out if we are failing
authentications. However, we want to avoid having to code this into each
handler.

Do I understand the new TACAS support correctly? If you have Radiator
accepting TACAS requests, it basically converts the TACAS request into a
RADIUS request. Then RADIATOR handles the RADIUS request and converts
the RADIUS response into a TACAS response.

Hello Jeremy -
I am pretty sure I have seen references to this on the list.
As long as the device uses radius, it will work with Radiator.

Hello Mahesh -
You can use an Identifier in your AuthLog clause, then refer to it as follows:
Identifier SQLAuthLog
.
.
AuthLog SQLAuthLog
.
See section 6.49 in the Radiator 3.6 reference manual ("doc/ref.html").
NB - this same technique can also be used with AuthBy clauses, S

Hugh. This is what we started doing. However, having to put the "AuthLog
SQLAuthLog" into each handler would be too much (we have over 1000) to do by
hand. What I was hoping for is a "global" AuthLog entry which would do it for
all handlers, etc.

Hello John -
I would like to see a copy of the configuration file (no secrets)
together with a more complete trace 4 debug showing more of what is
going on. And perhaps you could give me a bit more detail on what
exactly you want to do.
