As Hugh sugested, this is really a NAS-specific issue. But...

Hello Griff -
The first thing to check is the MySQL logs to see what is happening
with the database.
Then you should probably turn on LogMicroseconds (requires Time-HiRes
from CPAN) to see how long the queries are taking and what is happening
when the problem occurs. It sounds like there i

according to this message, the diameter protocol (the expected successor to

Hi,
is everyone else posting to the list getting this kind of replies from a

Someone should tell whoever QRgriff3 is to do this or else get him/her off

Hello.
I'm having problems with the next SQL statement for accounting
AcctSQLStatement update TABLENAME set VALUE=0%{Acct-Session-Time} where

DATE_FORMAT(FROM_UNIXTIME(0%{Timestamp},'%d-%m-%y') = 'mm-dd-yy'
You can call your AuthBy SQL from a ReplyHook making the whole thing easier
than you might think. Examples are in goodies/hooks.txt.

Hello there,
I provide here a small (but useful) patch. This one allows to use the
Event-Timestamp accounting attribute sent by some NAS (especially Cisco
ones in later releases) instead of having to calculate it. (=recvtime -
acct_delay)
This patch performs a small check: if the calculated tim

Hello:
I am wondering if there is a way to configure radiator so that
it will not retry packets that do not get a response when proxying
radius to another server? I have attempted to set retries to 0 in my

the packet 3 tim

Hello TDN -
You should add the relevant columns to the session database table, and
specify your own SQL queries.
Have a look at section 6.7 in the Radiator 3.3.1 reference manual.

Hello Mark -
This is because the AuthBy pap clause is accepting the accounting
request before it is proxied.
Try this:
AuthBy otherisp
AuthBy pap

Hi Mike -
I don't agree with changing Radiator's Timestamp.
If there is an Event-Timestamp in a request and someone wants to use
it, it is simple enough to use special characters (%{Event-Timestamp}),
and/or write a hook to make whatever changes are wanted/needed on a
local basis.
