Do you have any info on how to make the cisco nas to include the
nas-port-id when sending authentication request. I'm configuring the
radiator to ensure no simultaneous session per user, and to use the
SessDBM module.

Our system is working just fine (authentication wise), but I need to be able to send
accounting packets to two seperate locations for a particular realm.
For example:
Authentication packets for a certain realm are proxied (AuthBy Realm) to another
Radius server which works fine.
Accountin
You could add a backup sql server and then specify another DBSource,
DBUsername, & DBAuth in your AuthBy. Then if your sql server timesout
Radiator would switch to your backup and your users would still be able to
authenticate.

I've experienced very bad outcomes from zombie children of radiator.
Today's count was 386 zombies from radiusd. This ate up all our system
resources on our linux box that is running radiator.

Perhaps it would be wise to upgrade your TAOS versions
to the latest available. The versions I listed below
are very stable (and do not generate the errors you
reported).
Start by upgrading just one box and see how it works
from there.

As a follow-up, I changed the plain clause to and
it now works. I was able to reproduce it by dialing in with
[EMAIL PROTECTED] (not a real realm) and it froze. However when I make the
above change and dial in again I just get a no such user but it doesn't
bomb out.
