I guess I should have also. I will try that out.
Thanks

Hello Jim -
I will need to see a copy of your configuration file (no secrets) together
with a trace 4 debug from Radiator showing what is happening.

Hello Barrett -
In my example below, you would reject all calls to a particular
Called-Station-Id on the Clients with "Identifier somewhere".
Ie. "##" is the number you want to deny.
You could also use regular expressions in the .

It looks to me like the shared secrets are incorrect.

Nusphere has a table type for mysql (Gemini) that has effective row
level locking. I don't know which is best performance wise however
(myisam/Gemini) for what you are trying to do.

Doesn't MyIsam table format locking all table during the insert? For
accounting this is reccomandable?

Guys. is there a way to see the Access Accepted or Rejected or the
timeout errors on some log but without having to keep radiator on debug
level 4 (load issues)?

Hugh,
If I may jump in...
We also use a "virtual ISP" for a portion of our dial in customers.
The "Client" will take calls from more than one number and if we (if I
understand) deny at the client level, we lose the client and the numbers it
serves.
We would like to deny just the one number t

I plan to set up a DB for accounting, but before I do, I'd just like to
see accounting data going to the detail file first. So far, the only
time I've written anything to it has been with radpwtst. I've tried
different pathnames in the cfg file and made sure permissions aren't the
problem. Nothing
Well I thought that took care of it, but I checked log files today and
those logs are back. I put the handler in both my AAA servers, and my PRXY
servers. So at least one of them should be picking it up.
Here is some sample debug. Off the problem. I have no clue why the
handler you gave me
Hugh:
I am running it on :
OS: Solaris 8
Radiator3.0
and I installed ucd-snmp-4.2.4.pre2 to do SNMP queries.
It is odd since I have several scripts with snmpwalk that consults our NAS.

Hello to all,
in your implementation of Radiator with mysql, which mysql table format
have you choose for accounting one? Standart MyIsam or another.
In your opinion, in case of heavy traffic (about 15 insert per second)
which is the best choice?
Thanks.

Hello,
I have been doing some called-station-id handler-based authentication which
has been working fine (below is an extract of my .cfg file.

Hello Michael -
Yes, there are a number of means of doing this, although the details will
vary according to what else you are doing in your configuration file.
As an example, you could do something like this:
# define Client clauses with Identifiers according to location
Identifier
21 matches
