You really need to read the 'Writing R Extensions" manual, in
particular the section on the DESCRIPTION file. You are asking basic
questions that are covered there.

It probably means that in your DESCRIPTION file, you wrote something like
VignetteBuilder: knitr
If you don't have a vignette, you should remove that line.
