so that
the maximum frequency is a specific number (say 300, is the maximum
value of the vertical axis). This value is the maximum value shown
overall in all the histograms.
Is that possible?
Thanks,
Omar

could someone point me to any article (or the title) where this test
is described?
Thank you.

Hi again,
After playing a bit further, I have got the dotplot to put different
symbols using pch = c(1,2,3,4,5), however, the symbols do not appear
in the label, where I still get only circles of different colors!!!
Any help?
thanks!

ver, I need the plot have different shapes for the different keys
and currently I just get circles with different colours as the keys.
Can someone tell me the way to indicate R how to assign automatically
keys which are black/white printer friendly?
Thank you!
Omar.

Again, do not worry, and thank you VERY MUCH for your time answering
and reading this. Also, if my tone seems harsh in this mail, it is not
intended as that, I just tried to write down the facts.

Omar

Hello,
I have tested a distribution for normality using the Shapiro-Welch
statistic. The result of this is the following:
Shapiro-Wilk normality test
data: mydata
W = 0.9989, p-value = 0.8791
I know that the p-value > 0.05 (for my purposes) means that the data
IS normally distributed
