sure it is
possible as I have seen something like that in other uses of plot() but I cant
find where.

When I try to explain the DON variable with "lid_nose", the plsr() accepts my
coding but returns a error message after on second or so:
> don1 <- plsr(DON ~ lid_nose, ncomp = 10, data = lid_allt2, validation = "LOO")
Error in `[[<-.data.frame`(`*tmp*`, i, va
quot;n96 3" "n96 4" ...
Which is exactly the same structure as the supplied datasets in package pls,
and works well with plsr()
Thanks a lot for the help!

Still stuck, but thanks all the same!

Whatever I do ends with " invalid type (list) for variable 'n96'"
So I am still stuck

What should I do to change "n96" into something better than "list"?
Thanks

I have a dataset dealing with the way different wheat cultivars build their
yield.
Wheat ears are organised in spikelets where the spikelets can be numbered from
the bottom, with even numbers on one side and odd on the other.
I know how many kernels there were in each spik
ation followed by semi
automatic installation that used to get triggered by "update.packages()"
Thanks

?
How do I make boxplots from the lme objects? Producing the boxplots, I
want only 6 or 7 cultivars out of the 25 available in the object - so I
also need a way to subset the information in the lme objects.
Thank you
