I did a search and found this thread

which indicates that qmail will not work with mimedefang; however, that
thread is quite old, and I don't know if anything has changed since 2003
when it was active.

i already use sanesecurity -- i customized it for myself so that it will not
allow any exe, or similar dangerous attachments even if they are within zip,
tar, rar, cab files ie simply reject them rather than trying to scan them.
thus i am absolutely protected as far as dangerous attachment
