I've had this problem on quite a lot of servers in the
last few weeks. You need to downgrade your reformime binary to, at
least, version 2.4.3. There seems to be some kind of problems with
certain kind of encodings in 2.5 series. Maybe it's just a LANG/locales
issue, I don't know, a
malloc means "memory allocation" - sounds to me like your softlimits are
too low... Try increasing that and see if the error disappears
