I'm using qmail-scanner-1.23st on a local server that collects messages
from all my boxes via fetchmail.
Recently, I got several bulk mails from an institution at my former
university, which were quarantined because of "Disallowed MIME
characters...".
The messages turned out to have some

When I use qmail-scanner 1.23 with spamassassin 2.64 and clamav 0.65 , the
mail header has:
clamdscan: 0.65. spamassassin: 2.64.
When I try to use qmail-scanner 1.23 with spamassassin 3.0.0 and clamav 0.80

After install you need to edit the perl script qmail-scanner-queue.pl.
I forgot to mention that you have to run:
/usr/local/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl -z
as the user you use to run qmail-s

I've recently installed qmail-scanner 1.23 in an attempt to reduce my
spam intake.
I'm using Slack 9 (no suidperl), perl 5.8.0, spamassassin 3.0.0 w/Razor,
and clamAV 0.80 and everything *looks* alright as it runs from a
non-priviliged account.
