upgrade to the server edition for the price of using the desktop
edition.
I installed the server edition as I was told from the tech support but
QS don't not recognize it using the c
upgrade for the server edition.
Can Qmail Scanner work with the server edition or am I screwed and
need to find a new product for using with Qmail Scanner?

Even if I install this patch.. it's still gonna apply only when it reaches
qmail and not before. QS is working before qmail is working and so this
won't do much good.
Am I wrong?

Sounds to me like its a problem with FSecure and not qmailscanner.
You should check your logs and see.
