I tried just changing the variable but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Hmmm,
sorry but where is the "qmail-send log". I can't find this file.
After installation of qmail-scanner, I sent an eMail to a pop3-box on the
server and I got this failure notice from the qmail-program on my server:
From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Sent: Tuesday, September 0
Additional information:
I checked the /var/spool/qmailscan/*.log, the emails seem to be
processed without problems.
Afterwards, they disappear from the face of the earth...
The tmp files that are mentioned in this log extract are not there (any
more?)... The directory is:
[code]drwx--2 qm
