I have been requested to implement virus scanning on all incomming email
for one department at a local college.
My thought was to use qmail, qmail-scanner and sophie on a local
workgroup mail server. Normally I setup a qmail, qmail-scanner, sophie,
and spamassassin package for my clients so I

without the asterisks. Nothing else I tried worked.

What are typical scan times for QS and SA? I know they can be all over
the map depending on the size of the email/attachments, etc. But, in
general. Reason is, I'm seeing almost all of them over a second and lots
of them > 2 seconds. Seems pretty long to me. Fortunately, my server is
