Hi,
I am currently using qmail-scanner + sweep and want to
switch to Sophie.
Downloaded the latest build of Sophie (Version
3.04rc2) and followed the FAQ in Q-S website. We found
the process is up in "ps -ef | grep sophie" showing
/usr/sbin/sophie -c /etc/sophie.cfg -D
is running.
But I can't
I also use RH9 with kernel 2.4.24. Before installing the new version, I
clean up all of old version.
Thx & Rgds,
Awie

Hi,
Yes i have one idea...
You must compile Qmailscanner with the option:--log-details syslog
and set the qs2mrtg.pl so:
my ($logfile)='/var/log/mail.info';
my ($offsetfile)='/tmp/qs2mrtg.offset';
Thats All ;-)

hi,
Have restartet /usr/local/sbin/clamd after you compile clamAV?
you must restart it before you compile the qmailscanner

Hi All,
After upgrading my ClamAV to 0.66 and recompile qmail-scanner, my smtpd got
problem with message "qq temporary problem" if I send email with big
attachment. I tried to increase softlimit to 1200, but problem still
happen.
Then I check into log file and found message below:
X-Qmail-S
I solve all my problems with permision denied error when i setup qmail
scanner all spam, adn virus scaners to run either as root or as
user:group qmaild runs qmaild:nofiles in my case), and chown
qmailscanner, and clamav dirs/files to this user:group.
