The problem is in maildrop.
Download the latest versione and istall
it.
The mistake was in rebuild mime.

The qmail-queue.log file should tell you why. Have you looked in it?

I am imagining that something must be wrong with the email format / headers,
but i'm not sure. The quarantine.log file doesn't give any information that
helps me.

I've never had a successful patch with the first "hunk". I now just
manually add that part. All other patches I have added have worked fine. Go
figgure.

The error you are getting is similar to errors I have seen on my Solaris
2.8 server when using Solaris's patch command. I downloaded GNU patch
utility and now it works just fine.

When using qmail-scanner-1.20rc3 if the --redundant switch is set shouldn't
the
uvscan options include the --mailbox and --mime swtiches.
If it doesn't then surely the virus scanner will no be able to find any
maildir/mime viruses in the file and there is little point in using
--redundant.

messages or not.
