Hello,
I was looking around archive of the list, and didn't find any
question regarding another russian antivirus for Unix (Linux, *BSD)
DrWeb (www.drweb). Is it supported by QS?
Thanks

Anyone know why this would happen?
[qmaild@eureka gnu]$ /var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl -g
Can't locate gnu/stubs.ph in @INC (did you run h2ph?) (@INC contains:
/usr/lib/perl5/5.00503/i686-linux /usr/lib/perl5/5.00503
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/i686-linux
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005)
Yup, check the faq and the list archives. It'll more than likely be
your softlimit.

hey ... while we're on this subject, has anyone noticed that the new hbedv
engine and virus definition file seems to be catching fewer viruses than the
previous version? I don't have hard statistics, but ever since I upgraded it
appears not be catching as many as it should.

Yeah, I reported this issue a while back. I actually changed with HBEDV
6.15...
A temporary fix is to change the following in qmail-scanner-queue.pl from:
if ($DD =~ /(Virus.*)\n/) {
$quarantine_description=$1;
To:
if ($DD =~ /(ALERT.*)\n/) {
$quarantine_description=$1;

Hi,
I'm running qmail-scanner with clamav... I've installed it and I think
it's installed correctly.
I edited my /etc/tcp.smtp file so it reads:
127.:allow,RELAYCLIENT="",QMAILQUEUE="/var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue
.pl"
:allow,QMAILQUEUE="/var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl""
However.. whe
FWIW...I just upgraded to clamav (http://clamav.elektrapro.com/) 0.51 (from
0.24) and it seems to require an even further increase in softlimit. In my
case from 800 up to 1100.
Now that clamav has a daemon based component...has anyone dealt with
integrating clamd with Q-S?
I concur, I've seen this too.

Hello,
for your information, the HBEDV antivir virusscanner changed it's output
format from version 6.15 to version 6.16.
In case of a virus it now reports something like:
ALERT: [Armageddon virus]
/var/spool/qmailscan/mailserver10343273454231662/ARMAGEDN.COM <<<
Contains code of the Armageddon v
