Does anyone know why the 'assign' file in /etc/qmail/users would continually be overwritten?   I edit it and run qmail-newu and everything works great...   then, at some point later, assign is re-written and the addresses don't work anymore.   for example, i've got:   =carl:carldan:600:100:/

Are you compiling as non-root? If you're the root user, it won't compile. I had similar problems, but then I compiled in the home directory of a non-root user and it worked. - Original Message - From: "Ed Weinberg" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, May 21, 2001 1
